What is Aramid Fiber Packing
Aramid fiber packing is a flexible sealing material manufactured using aramid fibers as the primary raw material, processed through weaving and impregnation with lubricants (such as PTFE, graphite, silicone oil, etc.). It is primarily installed within the shaft gaps of pumps, valves, mixers, and reactors to prevent the leakage of water, oil, gas, and other process media; as such, it serves as a high-end, eco-friendly sealing material designed to replace traditional asbestos packing.

Advantages of Aramid Fiber Packing
High Temperature Resistance
Standard temperature resistance ranges from -50°C to 300°C; with special modification, it can withstand temperatures exceeding 350°C. It neither melts nor becomes brittle under high-temperature conditions.
High Strength and Wear Resistance
The inherent strength of aramid far surpasses that of cotton, hemp, or graphite packing. It resists wear even when the shaft rotates at high speeds, offering a service life 3 to 6 times longer than that of ordinary packing.
Corrosion, Acid, and Alkali Resistance
Resistant to various acids, alkalis, oils, wastewater, chemical solvents, and steam; highly suitable for use in chemical and petrochemical environments.
Eco-friendly and Asbestos-Free
Contains no asbestos dust; it is non-toxic, non-polluting, and complies with industrial environmental protection standards.
High Toughness and Break Resistance
Features a dense braided structure that remains intact under compression; it provides a tight seal and effectively prevents leakage.
Wide Range of Applications
Suitable for use in centrifugal pumps, valves, speed reducers, papermaking machinery, power plants, nuclear facilities, wastewater treatment systems, and more.
