Stainless steel flanged ball valves can be tightly closed with a 90-degree rotation and minimal torque. The completely equal valve body cavity provides a low-resistance, straight-through flow path for the medium. Ball valves are generally considered most suitable for direct on/off operation, but recent developments have designed ball valves to also be used for throttling and flow control. The main features of ball valves are their compact structure, ease of operation and maintenance, and suitability for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, as well as for harsh media such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. The ball valve body can be integral or composite. This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal direction of the pipeline.

Structural Features of Stainless Steel Flanged Ball Valves:
1. Low fluid resistance: Ball valves have the lowest fluid resistance among all types of valves; even reduced-bore ball valves have considerably low fluid resistance.
2. Thrust bearings reduce the friction torque of the valve stem, allowing for long-term smooth and flexible operation of the valve stem.
3. Good valve seat sealing performance: The sealing ring is made of elastic materials such as PTFE, and the structure is easy to seal. The sealing capacity of the ball valve increases with increasing medium pressure.
4. Reliable valve stem sealing: Because the valve stem only rotates and does not move up and down, the valve stem packing seal is not easily damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with increasing medium pressure.
5. Due to the good self-lubricating properties of materials such as PTFE, the friction loss with the ball is small, so the ball valve has a long service life.
6. The bottom-mounted valve stem and the protruding step on the valve stem head prevent the valve stem from being ejected. If a fire causes damage to the valve stem seal, the step and the valve body can still form metal contact to ensure valve stem sealing.
7.Anti-static function: Springs are installed between the ball, valve stem, and valve body to dissipate static electricity generated during the opening and closing process.
