1. Basic Concepts

PC Sheet has excellent optical properties and a high gloss surface. Easy to fabricate PC shows exceptional performance with a wide operating

temperature range (-40°C to +135℃). Other important benefits are high mechanical, thermal ahd electrical properties also virtually unbreakable in normal use. Also available in UV grade.

2. Advantages of PC Sheet

Extremely high impact resistance: This is the most notable feature of PC sheet. Its impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass and approximately 30 times that of acrylic sheet (PMMA), even surpassing impact-resistant glass. This makes it an ideal material for applications requiring explosion and smash-proofing.

Excellent optical properties: It boasts high transparency, with a light transmittance of up to 89% (comparable to glass). It also effectively blocks UV rays (UV coating can be co-extruded), protecting interior items from UV damage and fading.

Lightweight: Weighing only about half the weight of glass of the same thickness, it significantly reduces the load on the supporting structure, making it easier to transport and install.

Excellent heat and cold resistance: It boasts a high heat deflection temperature (approximately 135°C) and a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +120°C). It maintains excellent performance stability in both high and low temperature environments and is not susceptible to brittleness.

Flame Retardancy: PC Sheet is inherently flame-retardant and complies with various international fire protection standards (such as UL94 V-0 and V-2). It self-extinguishes when removed from flames and does not produce toxic gases when burned.

Excellent Processability: It can be machined through cold bending (bending at room temperature), cutting, drilling, and grinding, making it flexible and easy to install.

Soundproofing: Hollow structures (such as multi-layer boards) effectively reduce noise, significantly outperforming glass in sound insulation.

3.Main Application Areas

Construction: Skylights, curtain walls, canopies and carports, greenhouses, stadium domes, sound barriers, emergency exits, and security windows for rental properties.

Advertising: Light box panels, LED sign housings, signage, and exhibition displays.

Industrial Equipment: Machine guards, observation windows, instrument panels, and safety visors.

Transportation: Aircraft windows, explosion-proof police shields, motorcycle windshields, and marine windows.

Electronic Products: Drone gimbal and camera covers, mobile phone cases, and transparent housing components.
