Material properties of PEEK sheet

1.High temperature resistance: Long-term use temperature can reach 260℃, short-term temperature resistance exceeds 300℃, melting point is about 343℃, and it is one of the best temperature-resistant engineering plastics.

2.Mechanical strength: High rigidity, creep resistance and wear resistance, tensile strength can reach 90-100 MPa, bending strength can reach 170 MPa.

3.Chemical stability: Acid and alkali resistant, organic solvents, fuel oil and high-pressure steam, only soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid and other very few solvents.

4.Electrical properties: Excellent insulation, stable dielectric constant, suitable for high-frequency electronic components.

5.Flame retardancy: Complies with UL94 V-0 standard, no flame retardant needs to be added, and the smoke volume is extremely low when burning.

6.Radiation resistance: Anti-γ rays and X-rays, suitable for nuclear industry and medical equipment.

Electronic and electrical: insulating gaskets, semiconductor wafer carriers, high-temperature connectors.

Automotive industry: gearbox parts, sensor housings (oil and heat resistant).

Injection molding: requires a high-temperature injection molding machine.
