1.Basic Concepts
Acrylic fiber packing braided from high strength acrylic fiber with PTFE impregnated twice time. It has excellent properties of sealing, lubricating and resistant to chemical. The acrylic packing can be with or without oil. High elastic red silicone rubber core can absorb vibration.

2.Advantages of Acrylic Fiber Packing
Excellent chemical resistance: Exhibits excellent resistance to weak acids, weak alkalis, salt solutions, petroleum products, lubricating oils, coolants, water, and steam.
Not resistant to strong oxidizing acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid) and highly polar solvents (such as ketones, esters, and halogenated hydrocarbons).
Good wear resistance: Woven from high-strength polyacrylonitrile fibers, its tight structure effectively resists friction and wear with the shaft or valve stem, resulting in a long service life.
Self-lubricating properties: Impregnated with PTFE (Teflon) and lubricant, it forms an effective lubricating film during operation, reducing wear on the pump shaft and starting torque.
High resilience and flexibility: The woven structure provides excellent compression resilience, allowing for a tight fit between the sealing cavity and shaft, compensating for wear and minor shaft runout, resulting in a stable seal.
Resistant to shaft corrosion: Unlike some chloride-containing packings (such as some asbestos substitutes), high-quality acrylic packings are generally free of corrosive substances and have extremely low corrosiveness to carbon steel and stainless steel journals.
High cost-effectiveness: Compared to high-end packing materials such as carbon fiber and aramid packing, acrylic packing is more cost-effective and a cost-efficient choice for many common operating conditions.
Easy to install and remove: Its relatively soft texture makes it easy to cut and install into sealing cavities, and maintenance is convenient.
3.Main Application Areas
Due to its balanced performance, acrylic packing is one of the most widely used packings in industrial applications.
Chemical Industry: Seals for various pumps, agitators, and valves used for conveying chemical media such as acids, alkalis, and salt solutions.
Petroleum Refining: Used in oil, hydrocarbon, and seawater cooling systems.
Paper Industry: Seals for media such as pulp, bleach, and black liquor.
Power Industry: Feed water pumps, circulating water pumps, and condensate pumps.
Water Treatment Industry: Various pumps and valves in wastewater treatment plants.
