1. Basic Concepts

 Non-asbestos Gasket

Non-asbestos gaskets are composite materials made from various organic fibers (such as aramid fibers and cellulose fibers), inorganic fibers (such as glass fibers and mineral fibers), synthetic rubbers (such as nitrile rubber and EPDM rubber), and fillers, through a precision manufacturing process. They are designed to mimic or even surpass the physical and chemical properties of asbestos gaskets, while being completely free of asbestos.

2. Advantages of non-asbestos Gasket

Safe and Environmentally Friendly: Completely asbestos-free, meeting global environmental and occupational health standards.

Excellent Sealing Performance: Excellent compression resilience and sealing properties effectively prevent leaks.

Chemical Resistance: Withstands various oils, chemicals, steam, and solvents by selecting different fiber and rubber combinations.

High Strength and Creep Resistance: Especially in sheet metal and steel-clad gaskets with inner cores, it can withstand high bolt loads with minimal sealing force decay over long-term use.

Wide Range of Applications: Available for applications ranging from ambient temperature water and oil to high-temperature steam, and from low to medium-high pressure conditions.

3.Main Application Areas

Petrochemical Industry: Pipelines, reactors, heat exchangers, valve flanges.

Shipbuilding: Engines, oil systems, seawater pipelines.

Power Industry: Steam and water systems in power plants.

Automotive Industry: Engines, transmissions, fuel systems.

Machinery Equipment: Hydraulic systems, air compressors, pumps.

Food and Pharmaceutical Industries: Must use non-contamination gaskets that meet FDA and other hygiene standards.
